Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA)

The Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) is the organization that represents over 20,000 attorneys in Maryland, serving as the primary voice of the state’s legal community. Founded in 1897, MSBA brings together professionals from across the legal field, including lawyers, judges, paralegals, law firm administrators, law students, and nonprofit organizations. Through Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs, publications, and community activities, MSBA fosters the development of leaders in the legal profession and provides resources to advance their careers. Its leadership is composed of a Board of Governors, an Executive Committee, and Section Presidents, who guide the association’s mission.
