Buffalo Society of Artist

Founded in 1891, the Buffalo Society of Artists is one of the oldest continuously operating arts organizations in the U.S. Its mission is to promote and expand awareness of Western New York artists, fostering visual exploration as a critical voice of our time. The society hosts at least three annual exhibitions: a catalogue exhibition, an open members’ exhibition, and an alternative exhibition. It also provides members with lectures, workshops, and studio visits throughout the year, enriching the local artistic community.
